Human Resource Management
ESCA has negotiated a special, preferred human resource and employee relations consulting program available only to ESCA members in good standing. SESCO Management Consultants, the oldest human resource and employee relations consulting firm in the country, provides professional services through a monthly "retainer" program. The "retainer" program provides professional services at no additional charge as follows:
LEVEL I $75-$100 per month provides members the following at no additional charge:
- Unlimited telephone, research, fax and email consulting on a daily or as needed basis. This "hot line" is provided to members to solve problems to include discipline, termination, workers' comp, unemployment and other people problems on a daily basis. The SESCO staff also provides professional advice on all federal or state laws to include equal employment, wage and hour accounting, Family and Medical Leave, Americans with Disabilities, harrassment and all other labor and employment laws.
- SESCO will provide an analysis of your personnel policies, work rules and employee handbooks on an annual basis. The review is designed to determine compliance with federal and state employment regulations as well as to provide SESCO staff recommendations based on its long history of developing and publishing employee handbooks and personnel policy manuals so that your organization is protected and can defend any alleged wrongdoing.
- One (1) set of federal and labor law posters as required on an annual basis.
LEVEL II $150-$200 per month provides the same services as Level I, plus the following:
- An annual onsite audit of all personnel systems, processes and practices to determine compliance with federal and state employment regulations as well as to determine efficiency and effectiveness. The intent is to insure that your systems and processes are njot only compliant but also proactive thereby preventing misunderstandings and allowing the organization to successfully defend any allegded wrongdoing such as unemployment claim, EEOC charge, human rights claim or wrongful termination. All SESCO audits are followed up by a thorough report providing staff recommendations.
