WIS Update | The ESCA WIS badge program is up and running in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston, Miami Beach Convention Center and the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati with over 8500 WIS badges already in use across the country. Currently in the implementation stage is the Atlantic City Convention Center, with a planned "live" date of June 2010. The Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas is planning for a spring 2010 roll-out and the Las Vegas Convention Center is working on a summer 2010 roll-out. In addition to the above seven (7) facilities, ESCA is presently in discussions with many additional venues that are planning to implement the program in 2010, specifically all venues managed by Global Spectrum and SMG Worldwide. A new page on the ESCA website has been devoted to the WIS program where the latest news will be available on additional venues that will be coming on-line and any updates to the program. In addition to the latest developments with the program we are posting training videos this month detailing how Administrators can work in the system. We encourage you to check this page periodically. We are strongly urging all companies to support the program by registering your full-time employees prior to April, as there will be an increase in the cost of the badges at that time.
